Katherine Lee Dailey
Katherine Lee Dailey, 89, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the family residence.
Mrs. Dailey was born in Cleveland and she was the daughter of the late Lessie Lively Brock and Ed Brock. Her seven sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Dailey was a homemaker and worked for a while in the Cafeteria at Tomlinson College. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and she was an avid soap opera fan. Most of all, she was known for her servant's heart and helping people. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and she attended the Beacon Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, John Dailey Sr., Cleveland; son, John Dailey Jr., Benton, Tennessee; daughters, Debbie Lanclos, Susan Owens (Mike) all of Cleveland, Lisa Gregory (James) McDonald; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Bobbie Mullins, Cleveland, Naomi Stevenson, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted on Wednesday, Dec. 28, at 1 p.m. at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Reverend David Evans officiating. Interment will follow in the Veterans Section of Fort Hill Cemetery with John Dailey Jr., Dylan Dailey, Dylan Burgess, Ricky Hall, Zeshan Goodine and Jaiden Goodine serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.- 1p.m. Wednesday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
