Red Bank Announces May Schedule For Active Older Adult Classes

Red Bank Parks, Trails and Recreation Department announced their May schedule for Red Bank’s Active Older Adult (AOA) classes.  All classes will be held at the Red Bank Community Center located at 3563 Tom Weathers Dr. 

Regularly scheduled classes for the month include chair yoga, qi gong, guided exercise sessions, music jam, bingo and art classes presented by the Chattery via a grant from TN Arts Build.

The Southeast Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability will have a representative speaking on Thursday, May 8.
They will share insights into the agency's programs. Available resources include benefits assistance, legal aid, healthy aging initiatives, transportation services, caregiver support and in-home support.

On May 12, attendees will have the opportunity to meet Bank Public Works Director Greg Tate and listen as he shares insights and updates on the latest projects and initiatives shaping the community.  

"We have a variety of free activities planned to keep you engaged, active and connected with the 55+ community,“ said Tegan Barber, program assistant for the Parks, Trails and Recreation Department.
