Tennessee Averages 54 COVID Deaths And 5,018 Cases Per Day From Feb. 6-12

The Tennessee Department of Health, which is now reporting updated COVID totals once a week, on Wednesday said there have been 1,973,332 total COVID cases in the state, with an average of 5,018 cases per day from Feb. 6-12. 

There have been 23,404 coronavirus deaths in Tennessee, with an average of 54 per day from Feb. 6-12. 

The state currently has 2,417 people hospitalized from the virus, with a decrease of 74 per day from Feb. 6-12. 

The number of coronavirus tests that have been administered in the state is 12.353 million.

There have been 1,877,547 Tennesseans that have recovered from the virus, which is 95 percent.

Bledsoe County:  4,585 cases, up 85; 44 deaths, up 1

Bradley County:  32,615 cases, up 448; 363 deaths

Grundy County: 3,913 cases, up 73; 68 deaths, up 1

Marion County: 8,648 cases, up 193; 119 deaths, up 1

McMinn County: 16,114 cases, up 913; 218 deaths, up 5

Meigs County: 3,297 cases, up 53; 52 deaths

Polk County: 4,568 cases, up 87; 54 deaths, up 1

Rhea County: 9,813 cases, up 159; 141 deaths, up 2

Sequatchie County: 4,116 cases, up 70; 64 deaths, up 1

Knox County: 124,205 cases, up 2,669; 1,228 deaths, up 34

Davidson County: 186,939 cases, up 2,568; 1,534 deaths, up 18

Shelby County: 231,538 cases, up 2,391; 3,019 deaths, up 35
