County Commission To Weigh In On Erlanger's Plans To Become Non-Profit

  • Saturday, February 26, 2022

County Commission members next Wednesday will get to weigh in on the plan by current Erlanger Health System officials to convert the public hospital to a non-profit.

The commission is being asked to approve a request to the Legislature to provide enabling legislation.

The move would involve abolishing the Hospital Authority that was set up by the General Assembly in 1976.

The hospital is now governed by the Hospital Authority board.
