Marion Joseph ”Bubba” Sherrill
Marion Joseph ”Bubba” Sherrill, 85, of Chattanooga, went home to be with his Heavenly Father, Saturday, March 5, 2022.
Bubba retired from DuPont after 36 years. He was a longtime member of Hixson United Methodist Church and attended Red Bank High School.
He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Josephine Sherrill; twin sister, Mary Ann Wells; son-in-law, Mark Adams.
Bubba was blessed with a loving family. Survivors include his wife, Doris Potts Sherrill; daughters, Kim Sherrill Adams; Jennifer Sherrill and fiancé, Erick Wood; grandsons, Joshua Adams, Jonathan Adams; great-grandson, Benjamin Adams; sisters, Pam Rowan, Pat Gilbert; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 13, at Hixson United Methodist Church in the Old Sanctuary “The Chapel”, 5301 Old Hixson Pike, Hixson, from 2-3 p.m. The Reverend Dr. Charles Starks will conduct the memorial service in the church at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen.
