Christopher Lee “Chris” Stephens, 39, of Ringgold passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022. 

 

Chris was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia area where he was a 2002 graduate of Ringgold High School.  Chris worked in construction as a carpenter, heating and air conditioning, and was a pipe fitter.  He was a member of the Local Union 43.  Chris lived life to the beat of his own drum.  He had a compassionate soul, he loved the outdoors, fishing, and he was an avid Florida Gator fan.

 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Andrew J. and Ruby L. Stephens; maternal grandparents, Howard L. and Bobbie S. Sanland; and aunt, Cathy L. Norris.

 

Survivors include his children, William Trent “Willie T.” Stephens, Mason Lance Stephens, and Mackenzie Paxton Stephens; parents, Allen and Cindy Stephens; two brothers, Jason (Cassie Frogge) Stephens and Bradley (Casey) Stephens; two nieces Genevieve and Cindy Stephens; and several aunt, uncles, and cousins.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
