Joe Pasnaski,The Baseball 100:

If you are a baseball enthusiast and a student of the game, I feel certain that you will enjoy Joe Posnaski's in-depth look into the lives of his chosen top 100 players to ever play the game.

The book gives you a look into the lives of these players beyond the baseball field and their individual statistics. It spans the period when baseball had its inception to today's current players. Players from the oft-overlooked Negro Leagues are included with some names with which you may not be familiar.

The book allows you to look at the obstacles that most players had to overcome to become the best. He gives us a look at the personalities of each player and allows us to see them as people who dealt with issues withn which we can easily relate.

Check your local library or order through Amazon.

I think you will enjoy.
