Blood Assurance To Host 50th Anniversary Party On June 25

Blood Assurance will be celebrating its 50th anniversary on June 25, and is inviting the public for a day of fun, free food, Coca Cola, photos, special guests, and live music.

9 a.m.-5 p.m.:

· Fun, games, and giving blood. All blood donors receive a special 50th Anniversary T-shirt and cookie

· Live music

· Tours of the lab, a photo booth, T-shirt design contest, and pie throwing contest

11 a.m.-3 p.m.:

· Food trucks including Windy City Eatz and California Smothered Burrito.
Everyone in attendance gets one free meal.

11:30 a.m.:

· A special announcement

3-5 p.m.:

· Free Clumpies Ice Cream

Officials said, "We hope you can make it. We want to take this day to honor our community for helping us achieve 50 years of saving lives and bring awareness to the importance of blood donation."
