William Franklin “Pete” Howard, 81, of Hixson, died on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at his home.

 

He was born on April 18, 1941, in Chattanooga to the late Woodrow and Helen Howard. A sister, Joyce Ferry and a brother, Richard Howard, preceded him in death.

Mr. Howard as a member of the Carpenters Union. He worked for several years at DuPont. He enjoyed bowling and played fast pitch softball for DuPont.

Survivors include his children, Kay (David) Clark and Lee (Angela) Howard, brother, James (Tammy) Howard, grandchildren, Miranda, Anthony, and Brandi, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
