Randall Keith Walsh, 70, of Cleveland, passed away on May 2, 2022. He was born on July 2, 1951 to the late Lester and Ruth Walsh. Randall had been a resident of this area for more than 50 years. He accepted Jesus at an early age and was an active member of Philippi Baptist Church, where he was serving as the chairman of the deacons. He was also a member of the Cleveland Emmaus Community, where he served on the board and headed up the Emmaus and Chrysalis prayer chain. Randall was a Bowater (Resolute) Retiree after 40 years of service. He was active in the Cleveland Amateur Radio Club and volunteered for the Emergency Management Service. Randall enjoyed spending time in Pigeon Forge camping with his wife, and traveling the USA with the McDonald Boomers. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Rev. Claude Martin, and mother-in-law, Irene Henson.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 51 years, Rhonda Martin Walsh; three children, Aaron (Angel) Walsh, Amanda (Shane) Williams and Angee (Travis) Rayburn; brothers, Roger A. Walsh and Steve W. Walsh; nine grandsons; and three granddaughters.
A celebration of Randall’s life will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 6 at Philippi Baptist Church. His family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the service at 7 p.m. He will be laid to rest at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 7 at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in McMinn County.
