Baylor’s Evie Culbreath Finishes As Runner-Up In The Nike Outdoor Nationals 2022 Heptathlon

Baylor School’s Evie Culbreath has capped a break-out junior season as an All-American and runner-up in the Nike Outdoor Nationals 2022 heptathlon.

Competing on Sunday in the long jump, javelin, and 800m, Culbreath earned 4,717 points - after Saturday’s 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put, and 200m.

The country’s best track and field athletes competed over three days at the University of Oregon’s Hayward Field; and in her first outdoor nationals appearance, Culbreath finished just behind eventual champion Shaina Zinter (East Bethel, MN).

Culbreath had led after the first round.

After Culbreath and rounding out the top five were Logan Todorovich (Helena, MT), Madeline Hogan (Cottage Grove, WI) , and Ellis Weekley (Tampa, FL).
