Taking place in the heart of downtown Chickamauga at 200 Gordon St. on Saturday from 4-10:30 p.m., with a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. The Independence Day party will feature four country musicians followed by a fireworks show.
The musical acts include “Sweet Leona” from Dalton, “Soul Survivor” from Chattanooga, Gary Burk III from Pittsburgh and the Nashville-based duo “Love and Theft,” best known for their chart-topping single “Angel Eyes.”
The event will also feature dozens of local craft vendors with jewelry, photography, woodwork, visual art, canned goods, honey and exotic plants for sale. Local food options include pizza, 35+ craft beers, barbecue, Mexican cuisine, burgers and Korean tacos.
"TVFCU is proud to sponsor this event and will be hosting a cash giveaway contest on-site," officials said. "The TVFCU booth will also feature information regarding loans, opening accounts with the credit union and other financial products and services. Other community partners like The Walker County Chamber of Commerce and Lula Lake Land Trust will be present to showcase the Chickamauga community, its wide variety of outdoor adventures and other upcoming events."
