John Jefferson Bischoff
John Jefferson Bischoff, 84, of Birchwood, Tennessee, passed away on August 21, 2022.
He was born July 3, 1938, to the late Paul and Lila Bischoff. Jeff enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, hiking, and spending time with his dogs. He was a member of Gideons International. Jeff was a veteran of the United States Army and he was a member of Birchwood Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. Jeff also enjoyed sports as a participant at a younger age and spectator later in life. Jeff was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 57 years, Charlotte Bischoff; children Janet Bischoff (John Etheredge) and Vann Bischoff (Amanda); grandchildren: Charlie, Ella, and Vivian.
Jeff’s family will receive friends on Monday, Aug. 29, at Companion Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 12 p.m. with David Delmotte and Bob Schafer officiating. He will be laid to rest at 2 p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.
