Teachers Peter Vlaming, Pamela Ricard and Byron Cross have something in common. They were removed from their jobs-not for failing to teach the approved curriculum or for alleged inappropriate physical contact with students. They were removed for failing to use the progressive’s idea of an “acceptable” pronoun for certain students.
In Wisconsin, sexual harassment charges were filed against three eighth graders for allegedly refusing to call another student by preferred pronouns. Eventually charges were dropped (Daily Mail, Alyssa Guzman, 8/7/2022).
Distractions like these result from progressive school board members’ fixations on pronouns and not on academic achievement and vocational training. Hamilton County has a choice Thursday as to which direction this school system will go-forward academically or spiraling down into the morass of progressive social engineering and bizarre rules.
Look carefully as you vote on Thursday at school board candidates and the political party that is fixated on indoctrination. Hamilton County does not need these distractions as we train our students to compete in the world market of the 21st Century.
