North Georgia Community YMCA Announces Sponsorship Of The USDA Funded Child And Adult Care Food Program

Each year, the North Georgia Community YMCA serves healthy meals to youth enrolled in YMCA Afterschool Programming. The meals are free to all enrolled children regardless of race, color,
national origin, sex, age or disability. Meals are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Participating sites are:

• YMCA at Tiger Creek

Last year, 555,532 healthy meals were prepared and served across 80 total sites in Chattanooga, Cleveland and North Georgia.

Volunteers are needed to prepare meals, deliver and serve, and lead games/activities. Visit their website for complete information on the YMCA’s Youth Food Programs, including how to get involved.
