Benjamin “Ben” Ledbetter, 13, of Red Bank, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023.

Ben was the only son to Adam Ledbetter and Brandy Turner. He lived most of his life with his dad, and loved to play guitar and dressing up in horror movie costumes. He had a passion for music, and was really big into Johnny Cash. Ben loved horror movies, especially Texas chainsaw massacre, Friday the 13th, and Halloween. Even though he dressed up as horror villains, he was the sweetest and nicest person you'd ever meet. He was so smart and clever, and was good at anything he did. Ben enjoyed playing Playstation and his vr headset. Until the day he died, he was really into the JROTC, and wanted to be a marine when he graduated high school.

He was loved and will be missed by many people, his grandparents, Jerry and Debra; his uncles, Noah, Joseph, Jordan, Maddux, Zachary; and all his cousins and aunts. The Meeks, Leslie, Yvonne, Victoria, Josi, Claire, and all the kids; All the Byrd family, Red Bank Middle, Alpine Crest, the JROTC, and too many other people to name. He will be joined in heaven by his best friend Dale Byrd whom he had a great friendship with. He always put a smile on our faces and he will be deeply missed by all.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Dec. 10, from 2-4 p.m. at Meeks Auctions, 5006 Dayton Blvd., Chattanooga.

Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy Daisy, Tn. 37379, 423 843-2525.
