  • Monday, November 6, 2023
Chattanooga Police Officers, Andy Irwin and Adam Williams recently returned from their second humanitarian relief mission with the Chattanooga-based non-profit Rescue 82. This was Rescue 82’s fifth mission to Ukraine since the Russian invasion in February last year. Both officers used their vacation time to travel into the war-torn country and serve alongside local pastors and chaplains distributing food and supplies.

Rescue 82 consists of first responders, military veterans and like-minded individuals committed to using their skills and abilities to help those suffering in the middle of war, conflict and disaster.
The organization has a sixth relief mission planned for Ukraine later this month.
