Bohr Electronics Secures Multimillion Dollar Contracts For Locomotive Rebuild Programs

Bohr Electronics has been awarded multiple million-dollar contracts to supply fully furnished electrical cabinets for Class I railroad operators’ locomotive rebuild programs starting in 2024. The details of the clients remain confidential.

The contracts involve complete electrical cabinet rebuilds, which include installing new equipment, refurbished components, and control and power cabling into new or rebuilt cabinet shells, aligning with Bohr Electronics’ strategic goals and expertise.

Bohr Electronics electrical cabinets are designed to safeguard sensitive components and systems from environmental challenges, vibration, shock and overcurrent. These products meet and exceed original OEM specifications and adhere to ISO 9001:2015 and AAR M-1003 standards.
