Larry Coleman Brand, Jr., 61, a resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 in a local hospital. 

He was born in Birmingham, Al., on March 9, 1961, and has lived in the Cleveland area most of his life.  He was of the Methodist faith. Before retiring, he had worked for Whirlpool Corporation as a quality control engineer and later served as president of Brand & Associates.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Cathy Bradford Brand; daughter, Hilary Elizabeth Rayfield and husband Matthew Rayfield of Cleveland; son, Larry Coleman Brand III and wife Macara Ellen of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Matthew Wyatt Rayfield, Josie-Kate Elizabeth Rayfield, and Laurel Catherine Brand; parents, Larry Coleman Brand, Sr., and Josephine (Jo) Brand; one sister, Vicky Hoffman; one brother, Jeff Brand; and niece, Melody Hoffman.

A celebration of his life will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory with Reverend Bryan Mowery officiating.  Interment will follow in Old Ocoee Church Cemetery in Benton, TN, with Jeff Brand, Larry Coleman Brand III, Matthew Rayfield, Marc Rayfield, Brad Bradford, and Bobby Talbot serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, at the funeral home.
