U.S. Air Force Veteran Had A Love For Knowledge And All Things Science-Related

Michael Duncan passed away in his home of Jeffersonville, In., on March 14, 2023. He was 63.

He was son of Clarice and Harold Duncan. Graduating from East Ridge High School in 1977, Michael attended University of Chattanooga as a major in Physics before enlisting into the Air Force. Michael had a love for knowledge and all things science-related, as well as a deep appreciation for fiction and fantasy stories and playing the bass guitar.

While stationed at Clarke Air Force Base in the Philippines, he met his wife, Josefina. They then moved back to Michael's hometown of Chattanooga, where they would raise their family and start his own small computer business.

Michael was preceded in death by his wife, his two parents and his sister.

He is survived by his children, Maria (Chase) of Chattanooga, Glendon of Jeffersonville, In., and Luca (Kris) of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Josie and Chase Jr., three brothers, Ronnie, Hal and Jason and one sister, Dedra, as well as nieces and nephews and long time friend, Jeff Laycock of Jeffersonville, In.

Funeral services will be held privately at a later date.
