On February 28, 2023, Sabrina Michelle Stuart Green was called home by Jesus after a five-year battle against Ocular Melanoma. She passed peacefully in her own home on her own terms.
Sabrina, though it was cut short, led a full life. She held onto friends from every walk of life and never met a stranger. Sabrina, not a loud person, lived out loud. She was full of life and love with a mischievous side and a natural, timeless beauty, both inside and out. Sabrina loved the beach and had a, probably not so healthy, obsession for Mexican food.
She was born to Jimmy and Rose Stuart (Sims) on July 29, 1972 in Soddy Daisy, and was the youngest of three sisters, Stacey Stuart Fuller (Patrick) and Sonya Hartman Stuart. She graduated from Soddy Daisy High School where she met and later married Gregory Farrell Green on July 31, 1993. Sabrina graduated Chattanooga State and held a career in financial management until her son, Greyson Farrell (13), was born. Her daughter Abigail Rose (11) was born 20 months later. After the birth of her children Sabrina dedicated her life to being a wife, mother, homemaker, and educator. Homeschooling became a passion. She developed and directed the North River-Hixson Classical Conversations Community Group up to the last nine months of her battle.
Sabrina attended Calvary Chapel Northside where she volunteered in the children’s ministry and sang with the worship team. She was bold in her faith and a light in the world. If you knew Sabrina then you knew her love for Jesus, others, and life.
In lieu of visitation and a funeral, Sabrina wanted a celebration of life. It will be held at Calvary Chapel Northside, 8615 Hixson Pike, Hixson, Tn. 37343 on March 18, at 2 p.m.. Please come and be prepared to share some of your favorite memories with her or share how you met or knew Sabrina. We all know just how much Sabrina liked a good party; let’s not let her down.
