Junior Glenn Hannah, 82, a resident of Polk County, Tennessee, passed away and went home to be with his savior Jesus Christ Friday, April 28, 2023.

He was the son of the late Glenn and Nona Hannah. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Nina J. Hannah; sisters, Melba Rice and Liz Jackson; brothers, John “Pete” Hannah, Jerry Hannah and Ronnie Hannah; and grandparents, George and Ella Franklin, Joe and Rosa Hannah.

Junior was a member of Boanerges Baptist Church. He retired from TVA Watts Bar facility with numerous years of service. He enjoyed taking vacations, doing yard work and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Collett (Brent); brother, Steve Hannah (Wanda); sisters, Geneva Turner, Glenda Clayton (Tom), Rita Hannah and Revada Skelton; along with many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his very special friend, Maebelle Davis.

A Remembrance of Life Service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, May 1, at Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Pastor David Disney officiating.

The interment will be held Tuesday, May 2, at 11 a.m. at Boanerges Baptist Church Cemetery with Matt Clayton, Derick Hannah, Tracy Hannah, Steven Suttles, Tillis Ownby and Ryan Cooke serving as casket bearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Cloud and Tim Wattenbarger.

The family will receive friends Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
