Barking Legs Hosts 2 Dance Parties, Thursday And Saturday

  • Monday, May 1, 2023

Swing dancers can move to the sophisticated rhythms at Barking Legs at Swing Into Spring With Triple L Trio, Lon Eldridge and Lou and Lynn Wamp. It will be held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Then on Saturday A Dance Party with the Beaters will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Review for Triple L Trio:

These three Sultans of Strings and Swing will have you movin’ and groovin’. Lon Eldridge and Lou Wamp are two of the finest on six (or more) strings, and Lynn Wamp more than holds her own keeping things together.

There will be plenty of space on the dance floor, but for those not inclined to dance, this show will be equally fantastic for listeners.

Review for The Beaters:

The Beaters, Chattanooga’s favorite party band since 1985, will offer guests the chance to “dance the night away” to favorite tunes from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Or they can sit back and enjoy a Beaters concert experience.

This will be a special Reunion Event, with past members from the band’s 38 year history joining the festivities. A cash bar will be available.

Tickets for Swing Into Spring are $12 in advance, $15 at the door. Tickets for The Beaters are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.

Barking Legs is at 1307 Dodd Ave.
