Tennessee American Water Hosts Pool Party For Chambliss Center For Children

  • Tuesday, May 30, 2023

Now a summertime tradition at the agency, Tennessee American Water hosted a pool party Tuesday at Chambliss Center for Children, kicking off Summer Camp with a sparkling pool, treats, and gifts for the children participating in the program.

Tennessee American Water filled up the 40,000 gallon pool at no cost to Chambliss Center for Children.

“Coordinating the Chambliss pool party is something we look forward to every year,” said Daphne Kirksey, External Affairs manager for Tennessee American Water. “Tennessee American Water shares with Chambliss the focus of strengthening our communities. By providing the water for the pool, beach towels, and water bottles, we hope to make fun and memorable moments centered around water for the children in their childcare program.”

"Our partnership with Tennessee American Water is very important to us,” said Chambliss Center for Children Director of Development Emily Barrow. “We are able to use the money that would have been dedicated towards filling up the pool in other areas of the agency. This has helped Chambliss Center for Children continue to provide exceptional care to the children in our community.”
