The Chattanooga Division of Transportation announced 1200 Richard Avenue and W. Hoyt Street are closed due to a water main break.
Tennessee American Water crews are en route to perform the repair. Traffic control devices are now in place to guide motorists around the closure. Plan for additional travel time.
The closure is expected to remain in place until Friday afternoon.
