If truth be told, Riverbend is missing the local black dollar.
They left us out so we have left Riverbend out of our agenda. It is obvious by the entertainment lineup and after "they" took over the Bessie Smith Strut - started charging - then just cut it out.
Well, we have created our own summer events and the so called "Friends of the Festival" will not admit they need our money.
The joke is on you all.
So with that being said, my friends, associates and fellow black Chattanoogans have decided to let you people have it.
But the least they can do is admit the black dollar is powerful.

I didn't realize that we had dollars other than green. Those green dollars support all people in need in the form of welfare, donations, gifts, etc. My green dollars have supported all different cultures of music and events throughout my lifetime and not once did I hear them being called white dollars.
Unfortunately some people just can't help but create division among us. I suppose if you own a black dollar you should keep it as it is surely a rarity.
