Jimmy White
Jimmy Edward White, 76, of LaFayette, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, August 29, 2023.
He was a member of Waterville Baptist Church, a veteran of the United States Army and an avid Tennessee Vols fan.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer and Ernestine White; and, brother-in-law, David Edge.
He is survived by his loving wife, Melanie; sons, Austin (J.J.) White and Payson White; grandchild, Raelynn Marie White; sisters, Sandra Edge and Cindy Riggins; brother, Bob (Cheryl) White; nieces, Pam Riggins, Elizabeth Edgeman and Anna Kate Edgeman; and nephews, Michael (Kristin) Edge, Charlie Riggins, Joe Edgeman, Will Edgeman, and Gage Edgeman.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Sept. 1, at 11 a.m. in the Woodstation Cemetery, with Lamar Hall officiating.
The pallbearers are Austin White, Payson White, David Bennett, Joseph Woodall, Adrian Edgeworth, Tom Koether and Scott Beaty.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, Aug. 31, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
