Pamela Elaine Kite-Powell, 79, passed away September 18, 2023 in Chattanooga, surrounded by her family. She was born March 8, 1944 to the late Stephen & Elaine Kite-Powell in Madison, In.
Pamela worked as the corporate secretary/executive director of Franklin Design Group in Chattanooga, executive director of Dallas Branch of the American Institute of Architects, Dallas, Tx. and executive secretary for Scott Berry at DeHay & Elliston, LLP in Dallas, Tx.
Pamela loved to paint, listen to music, watch NCIS, go to the beach, traveling, jewelry and bright colors. She was witty, had a good sense of humor, good hospitality, loving, caring, supportive and generous.
In addition to her parents, Pamela is preceded in death by her grandson, Spencer Odom and sister-in-law, Susie.
Left to cherish her memories are daughters, Stephanie (Kevin) Gabor, Samantha (Leon) Odom and Sabrina (Tim) Jones; siblings, Steve (Maudie) Kite-Powell & family, Chris & family, Linley (Don) Hannabas & family and Kevin (Dot) Kite-Powell & family; grandchildren, Matthew (Ashley) Gabor, Emily (Beau) Geren, Michael (Dustie) Rodriguez, Savannah Low, Spencer Odom and Luke Odom; great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Penelope, Evelyn & Rowan Gabor, Palmer Geren and Hadley Low; and multiple nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the memorial service on Monday, Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 848 Ashland Terrace in Chattanooga, with Mother Maribeth Manoff officiating the service. A reception will follow the memorial service in the parish hall. The family requests that everyone wear bright colors in honor of Pamela.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Hearth Hospice or St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
