The Chattanooga Beer Board on Thursday approved a beer license for Big Bad Breakfast, which opened last month at 313 Manufacturers Road, Unit 119.

This is the 16th location for the chain of upscale, casual restaurants that got its start in 2008.

It is open from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., seven days a week, and serves breakfast, brunch and lunch. There is also a full bar including beer after the Beer Board approval.

The restaurant has 135 seats and employs 34 people, including eight servers at any time, who have been through training in alcohol sales from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission, as well as being given daily refresher/pre-shift training.
