"Battle Of The Bosses: Culinary Wars" Culinary Showdown Set For May 3

  • Tuesday, April 15, 2025
The Kitchen Incubator of Chattanooga will transform into a battleground on Saturday, May 3 at 2 p.m. for culinary creativity and school pride during the "Battle of the Bosses: Culinary Wars."

"This one-of-a-kind event showcases the exceptional talents of the Midtown Learning Community’s Culinary Arts Program lead by Dr. Crystal Sorrells and Dr. LeAndrea Ware," officials said. "Setting their executive titles aside, Dr. Sorrells and Dr. Ware, executive administrators and proud alumni of their schools, will step into the kitchen as rival chefs.
Trading their administrative roles for cutting boards, they will represent their respective alma maters in a friendly, yet fierce, culinary showdown. This event celebrates not only their school pride but also the shared mission of mentorship, growth, and unity that connects the two schools."

Proceeds from "Battle of the Bosses" will directly support the culinary arts programs at both schools. "These funds will provide students with enhanced learning opportunities, industry exposure and essential resources, helping to cultivate the next generation of chefs and hospitality leaders," officials said.

Kitchen Incubator of Chattanooga is located at 5704 Marlin Road, Building 6000 in Chattanooga.

VIP Tickets (30 VIP) are available for $100 and include veranda access, battle food tastings and exclusive swag. Day-of-event spectator/general admission tickets are $20 and include a sample mocktail.  Tickets can be purchased here. Donations are also welcomed.
