Living in and patronizing business in the South Mountain Creek area is becoming a nightmare.
Homelessness is rampant with fights in the parking lot of Fabric Care laundry, drug deals being made at the abandoned car wash next to La Altena Mexican restaurant which has turned into the local dump. There are condemned houses on Combs Road that now serve as a haven for drug deals and the homeless.
The corner of Mountain Creek Road and Glendale Drive is now occupied by the homeless in a shed with trash all over the place. The homeless are stealing and breaking into houses, especially on Glendale Drive.
There are 11 taxpaying businesses in the immediate area along with hundreds of apartment dwellers and many homeowners paying taxes as well. I've sent Chip Henderson and Mayor Kelly emails addressing the issues including pot hole ally Glendale Drive. Nothing has been done.
Question is would Mr. Henderson or Mayor Kelly accept this in their neighborhoods? Absolutely not. We the people of South Mountain Creek Road need your help, Mr. Mayor and Mr. Henderson. After all, the amount of taxes we pay should make this an easy fix.
