Faith, Family And Freedom Is More Than A Campaign Slogan For Michele Reneau - And Response (2)

  • Thursday, October 17, 2024

Voters of District 27,

We strongly support Michele Reneau for Tennessee State Rep. District 27. I was introduced to Michele several months ago, and after my wife and I went through our own vetting process, we were convinced that Michele is who she says she is.

Faith, Family and Freedom is more than a campaign slogan for Michele, she is passionate about each of these issues, and she is highly capable. Michele is a woman of the highest character and integrity. We need a conservative in Nashville representing District 27, and I believe Michele will do an excellent job. Michele’s life experiences, energy, determination and work ethic will serve her well, as she serves the citizens of District 27. She and her husband, Chris, have five children.

Reminder: early voting started Oct. 16 and goes through Oct. 31. General Election voting is Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Please join us, cast your support and vote for Michele Reneau.

Opinion letters are something I like to read every day in this publication. It lets me know what people are thinking. The title alone of the above letter grabbed my attention.

I had already looked at both candidates very closely. How does one person label another person as having Faith, Family and Freedom as a campaign slogan?

Here's my take: they know Michele Reneau. I know, that's almost too simple, but it is true. Had I written the piece I would have simply said Michele Reneau is a lady of virtue. We would have both been correct, but I'm thinking they know her on a more personal basis. I know her to be a virtuous woman by everything I've learned about her. This lady is what most would call a "Rock Star" and I truly believe she is running to serve "we the people of Tennessee". There's just not much more of a reason for her to put herself out there, except that she has been "called". We need for her to win this race.

I believe her opponent is a good person too. However, Tennessee doesn't need any more left leaning leadership. Our country, on national, state and local level, is in trouble. We have some really good leadership in Nashville and we need to make sure we keep adding to that, not have someone who is willing to follow the lockstep of a liberal agenda.

Ms. Reneau, thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you for stepping up and putting us before yourself. Run fast and run hard, because we really do need a person of your caliber.

Add my name to the growing list of voters who are enthusiastically supporting Michele Reneau. A family member had emailed her and said he was supporting her and, lo and behold...she took the time out of her very busy schedule to visit with him personally (mind you, he already said he was supporting her).

During the visit, I had the opportunity to listen to her and ask several questions. I am a big supporter of school choice and she explained the nuances involved with that issue. She is a very, very bright, articulate, serious, and pleasant person. I so hope she wins.
