Hurricane Relief Drive Offered At U.S. Xpress Headquarters

U.S. Xpress has partnered with the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) to support neighbors in East Tennessee and Western North Carolina. The company is asking the community to donate high-demand items in boxes by Thursday, Oct. 10 at 4 p.m. 

Drop off items should be packed in boxes and delivered during the hours of 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Oct. 10 at the U.S. Xpress headquarters at 4080 Jenkins Road, Chattanooga.

The company has also created an Amazon shopping list for anyone who would like to contribute to the efforts virtually. Please ensure items arrive by Thursday, Oct. 10.

Items needed: 

  • Water 
  • Baby formula 
  • Heavy duty trash bags 
  • Diapers of all sizes 
  • Baby wipes 
  • Personal hygiene products (i.e. toothbrush, toothpaste, bar soap, shampoo, hairbrush) 
  • Hand soap and hand sanitizer 
  • Sanitizing wipes (i.e. Clorox wipes) 
  • N95 masks 

In addition, the Cleveland Elks lodge 1944 has partnered with the company to offer a second drop off location at 235 2nd Street, Cleveland, Tn. Drop off items should be packed in boxes and delivered during the hours of 4-10 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
