The Erlanger Foundation announces the success of their inaugural Farm to Table(aux), Pop! Goes the Warhol event that took place on Friday, Sept. 13 at Common House in Chattanooga.
"An incredible $222,000 was raised for Erlanger Trauma Services," organizers said.
Farm to Table(aux) was co-hosted by Erin and Jeb Hart and Laura and Dr. Stephen Scorey. The event was a celebration of art and food. Attendees enjoyed a charitable night of socializing, feasting on locally sourced in-season fare, and enjoying the skilled pieces of local artisans.
The event, inspired by Andy Warhol’s whimsical artistry, transported guests to an era of sensory pleasures.
This included pop-inspired décor and artwork, craft cocktails, as well as culinary indulgences. The night’s entertainment included “tableaux vivants,” also known as “living art,” walking disco balls and Campbell’s soup cans, as well as both silent and live auctions that offered a variety of items and experiences for guests to bid on. Attendees made playful statements in their artistically themed cocktail attire, and a Studio 54 inspired silent disco concluded the memorable evening.
“The inaugural year for Erlanger’s Farm to Table(aux) event was a huge success,” said Co-Chair Erin Hart. “It was a fundraiser that was fresh, amusing and unlike any other event. It was inspiring to witness the shared commitment in our community to support the region’s only Level I Trauma Center. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to fundraise alongside the incredible team who made this night happen. Hard work is good work, and no one lives that out on a daily basis like Erlanger’s heroic trauma team that we are so fortunate to have right here in Chattanooga.”
