Frank Daniel Carpenter, Jr.
Frank Daniel Carpenter, Jr., 71, passed away suddenly on October 30, 2024, after lengthy health issues.
He graduated from Central High School and earned a degree from UTC. He settled in East Ridge, Tn. where he served as Fire/Police Commissioner during 1990-1992. He was employed by RGIS, Olin Mills Church Division, and Owen’s Siding. In 1994, Frank married Nancy (Higgins) Giles. As a couple they enjoyed traveling to many unique and historical sites throughout the Eastern US. Frank was a people person and loved spending time with family and friends. He loved being at Camp Jordan Park and refereeing soccer for several years. Frank also had an interest in vintage Mustang cars throughout his adulthood.
Frank is survived by his wife Nancy Carpenter, daughter Amy Carter, granddaughter Kailey Carter, brother Keith Carpenter (Kathy), sister Vickie Graves (Monty) and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. on Nov. 17, at Chattanooga Funeral Home East Chapel, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, Tn. A Celebration of Frank’s Life will follow at 3 p.m.
