Officers were dispatched on a call about an Emu who was attacking cars in the 5500 block of Tallant Road. (Yes, you read that correctly!) Contact was made with the giant war chicken and thanks to the assistance of a few citizens the fearless fowl was captured and the owner was informed.

Collegedale police was requested to check on the occupants of a crash in the 9200 block of Lee Highway by the Chattanooga Police Department, who had an officer in route.
Bonding company agents turned over a Collegedale fugitive who had bond revocation warrants for a previous DUI charge. The fugitive was transported to the jail.

Police were dispatched to an unknown person walking around the Downing Green neighborhood with a suitcase. Contact was made with the individual who stated that they had got into an argument with their spouse and they were leaving to separate. A ride share service was already on the way to pick them up.
A resident of the College Park apartment complex called in stating that kids were running around knocking on doors and throwing rocks. Contact was made with the children and their families and they were advised to stop.
