Shoplifter Flees Police, Caught And Arrested - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

Officers were dispatched to Walmart on a report of a shoplifter. Officers arrived and confronted the individual, who resisted arrest and fled on foot. The individual was placed into custody after a brief foot pursuit.

 

A two-vehicle crash occurred in the 9500 block of Apison Pike.

A vehicle was disabled after leaving the road in the 4200 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road.

A Collegedale fugitive turned themselves in on a failure to appear warrant.

Walmart reported a theft.

Property damage was reported in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway.

A citizen came into City Hall to report a scam.

An abandoned vehicle was towed in the 9700 block of Dutton Lane.

An individual at Walmart was arrested and charged with theft.

Officers responded to reports of indecent exposure in the 9900 block of Cloverlan Hills.

Officers responded to skateboarders in the 4700 block of Swinyar Drive. They left without incident.
