James Willard Phillips
James Willard Phillips, 86, of Rome, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
Born in Huntsville, Tn., he was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Cave Springs, Ga., and was a former employee of Sears and Roebuck.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer Frank Phillips Sr. and Ruey Edna Pennycuff Phillips; and sister Pamela Phillips. He is survived by his two children, David Mitchell Phillips and Julie Malka; three sisters, Janet Phillips, Margie Reisman and Karen Walsh; two brothers, Homer Phillips Jr., and Roger (Debbie) Phillips; and four grandchildren, Connor Phillips, Jake Phillips, Joseph Shoemaker and Rory Shoemaker.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends from1-2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
