Wesley "Wes" Blevins, age 52 of Trenton GA, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2024.

A Gathering of Family & Friends to celebrate and honor Wes's life will be held on Wednesday, March 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home.

Born on October 13, 1971 to Gene and Trudy Dowdy Blevins, Wes was a cherished son, brother, father, grandfather, husband, and friend to many. Wes had a penchant for the outdoors and could oftentimes be found exploring its many wonders while hiking or kayaking or by discovering things with his metal detector. He enjoyed cooking delicious meals and barbecuing when the mood struck. Throughout it all, Wes loved spending quality time with his beloved wife, Brandi.

Wes is survived by his devoted wife of 8 years, Brandi Blevins; his parents, Gene (Marie) Blevins and Trudy Blevins; his daughters, Presley Blevins, Kiera (Scott) Scherberger, and Brittany and Brianna (Corbin) Ciha; his brothers, Eric Blevins and James Wright; his sisters, Kim (Shawn) Blevins Williams, Karen Blevins and Janell Wright; his uncle, Mike (Mary) Dowdy; and his grandchildren, Brayden, Kove, Mila, and Baby Scherberger. His fur babies, Roxie, Lila, Huck and Toby held a dear and special place in his heart. Additionally, Wes is survived by nieces and nephews, Layla, Maddie, Gabe, Tristan and Ryland  as well as many extended family members and a host of friends who will miss Wes dearly.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff of CHI Memorial and Tennessee Donor Services for their compassionate care and attention given to Wes in his last days. Wes’ love and kindness will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his last gifts thrive and may Wes rest in peace.
