The annual MaxPreps Cup top 100
standings were released Wednesday and several area schools are in the top 100.
Baylor School in Chattanooga is the highest ranked Tennessee school at #12.
Other Tennessee area schools listed are Cleveland High School at #61, Signal Mountain #63, and McCallie at #72.
The school at #1 was Carmel (Indiana). They won their 10th straight boys swim
team title and on the girls swim side they won their national record 38th straight state title - a title streak for girls swimming that began in the mid-1980's.
Cleveland won state titles in boys and girls wrestling and girls volleyball.
Their
girls wrestling was ranked #40 in the nation.
Signal Mountain won girls volleyball and boys and girls cross country state titles.
