Trek Thru Truth emerging Christian children’s museum has partnered again with Theme Fusion for new renderings for “Peter Walks on Water,” one of Trek Thru Truth’s 52 planned exhibits. The new artwork follows earlier releases for the “Jonah and the Big Fish” escape game, the “Zacchaeus Tree” playground and others.

The new artwork, illustrating the biblical account of the Apostle Peter joining Jesus walking on the water found in Matthew 14, highlights both the educational and entertainment elements to the exhibit, designed by Brian Anderson of Theme Fusion.
The exhibit will allow children to reenact the scene as well as learn water cycles and bodies of water.

“Peter Walks on Water is one of the most well-known miracles in the Bible,” said Douglas B. Caywood, president and founder of Trek Thru Truth. “We know this will be a popular attraction for kids and a source of inspiration and education for families.”

Theme Fusion and President/Founder Joe McCullough have previously contributed designs for Jonah and the Whale, Zacchaeus Treehouse and Moses at the Nile River, among others. The company has a long history of bringing stories to life through creative design for other clients such as Lee University, several churches in Cleveland, such as Westmore Church of God, First Baptist and North Cleveland Church of God, Northpoint Church and Peachtree Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Gatlin Escape Games, Breakout Escape Games and Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics of Chattanooga.

"Our goal is to make scripture relevant and alive for guests visiting the Trek Thru Truth Children's Museum. The exhibits are designed to spark interest and conversation so that guests will want to dig deeper into the history of biblical truth,” Mr. McCullough said.

Current plans for Trek Thru Truth include a 60,000 or more square foot facility housing 52 permanent interactive walk-through exhibits themed around familiar, as well as lesser known, stories from the Bible, where visitors can use their senses to make the Word come alive. The museum will include multiple escape rooms, including themes such as Daniel in the Lion’s Den and Jonah in the Belly of the Big Fish, as well as a Moses in the Bullrush wading pool and a Zacchaeus-themed tree playground. Each exhibit will be grounded in scripture and creativity to create a memorable experience for guests of all ages. The project will also include a theater, meeting rooms, café, walking trails, a petting zoo and temporary exhibit area featuring educational and topical Subjects such as “Bugs in the Bible,” “Transportation in the Bible,” “Professions in the Bible,” etc.

Officials said, "Trek Thru Truth, an emerging member museum in the Association of Children’s Museums, is being planned for the Cleveland area, which has been mentioned as one of Tennessee’s fastest growing cities. Nestled between Chattanooga and Knoxville and near the Ocoee River, the site of the 1996 Olympic whitewater events, the museum is poised to be a go-to tourist destination for families and have a significant economic impact on the area.

"For the past several years, the board has held galas and formed strategic partnerships with individuals and companies to build funds needed for the project. The next event is Trek Fest 2024, a festival-type fundraiser on Nov. 2 at the Ministry Training Center on Keith Street. Artists, food vendors and small businesses are invited to exhibit at the festival, which is expected to draw a crowd of thousands."
