Tiffanie Robinson
Chattanooga State Community College is sponsoring a Dinner of Firsts on Thursday, Nov. 13, at The Chattanoogan hotel.
Each year, Chattanooga State honors a distinguished first-generation college graduate with a lively roast, raising critical funds to support first-generation students. This year’s honoree is Tiffanie Robinson, managing partner and CEO of Aslan Holdings, former Hamilton County school board member, and Lee University alumna - the first in her family to attend college.
“Dinner of Firsts is one of our most anticipated traditions, where laughter meets legacy,” said Tammy Sawyers, director of College Advancement. “We are thrilled to recognize Tiffanie Robinson’s incredible leadership and dedication to our community.”
Tom White will serve as event chair, and Terran Anderson will guide the evening as master of ceremonies. The lineup of roasters includes Mickey Cloud, Kristina Montague, Justin Robertson, Mike Robinson, and Kirby Yost.
This year’s event is made possible thanks to the support of State Rep. Greg Vital, president and co-founder of Morning Pointe Senior Living, and Jay Dale, market president of First Horizon Bank, who will serve as presenting sponsors and evening co-hosts.
Officials said, "Supporters can help open doors for first-generation students by becoming event sponsors or purchasing a corporate table. Those unable to attend may honor Ms. Robinson with a gift to the Tom Edd Wilson First in the Family Endowed Scholarship, supporting first-generation students at Chattanooga State."
