Child Left In Car Passes Away - And Other Collegedale Police Calls

Officers made contact with an individual in the Collegedale Academy school zone after finding their child unresponsive in the vehicle. Officers and other responders were unsuccessful in their efforts to revive the child. The child was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital by EMS. During the event, it was discovered that the individual had left the child in the vehicle all day. The individual was arrested and charged with reckless homicide and aggravated child abuse or neglect.
 
A Collegedale fugitive was located at the Hamilton County Jail.
The individual was booked on a warrant for possession of a Schedule II drug.

A Hamilton County fugitive was apprehended after officers conducted a traffic stop in the 5900 block of Main Street.

A traffic stop in the 5000 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road resulted in the driver getting issued a misdemeanor citation for possession of narcotics.

Officers responded to a disorder in the 10600 block of Pine Hill Road. Peace was restored after the parties were separated. 

Officers responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 9400 block of David Smith Lane. The vehicle turned out to be an HOA member.

A theft was reported in the 4900 block of Pine Circle.

A Hamilton County fugitive was arrested after a traffic stop was conducted in the 9300 block of Lee Highway. The individual was wanted for Especially Aggravated Robbery and Evading Arrest.

Officers assisted a broken-down vehicle in the 5500 block of Little Debbie Parkway.

Officers advised an individual on a civil matter in the 10600 block of Pine Hill Road.

Officers were requested to check on an individual in the 4900 block of Sandy Trail. Officers made contact with the individuals who were okay.

An individual in the 9600 block of Robinson Farm Road was arrested for Domestic Assault.

A driver in the 5000 block of Little Debbie Parkway was arrested for DUI and violation of the implied consent law.

Officers responded to an alarm in the 4900 block of Saginaw. Officers arrived and met with two individuals in the backyard stating it was their parent's house. The individuals were asked to leave after not producing a key or unsuccessfully contacting the owner.
