Eva Marie Hooshmand
Eva Marie Hooshmand, 61, of Eva, Tennessee, passed away on August 16, 2024, in New York, New York.
She was born in Rochester, Minnesota at the Mayo Clinic. Eva was a graduate of St. Edward’s High School, in Vero Beach, FL, attended Holy Cross College, and was a graduate of the University of Florida, with a master's degree in Education. She also attended New York University, and State University of New York, Purchase College. A teacher at heart, she truly enjoyed her career in education, and her environmental work at Green Design Expo.
Eva was preceded in death by her father, Hooshang Hooshmand.
She is survived by her children, daughter, Caroline Finkelstein and fiancé Rishi, two sons, David Finkelstein and Kevin Finkelstein; her mother, Clara Hooshmand; and sisters, Zara Hooshmand (Ron) Meyers, and Mary (Chris) Trent.
Funeral services will be held on Friday Aug. 23, at 11 a.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Father Alex Waraksa officiating. A committal service will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in East Ridge.
