The Baylor girls cross country team won the John Freeman Invitational meet Friday night in Bell Buckle.

Baylor School continued its winning ways Friday night at the John Freeman Cross Country Invitational at the Webb School in Bell Buckle, Tenn. Baylor ran away from the field with big victories in all high school races.
Addy Cotter & Marshall McConville repeated with individual victories. Cotter's 19:05 for the 5K distance led her team to a win over the host school Webb, 27-83. Impact runners were Addi Greene (2nd), Claire Ellish (6th), Laney Fowler (9th), Betsy Williams (11th), Ruby Dozier (17th), and Kate Henry (19th)). McConville (16:26) topped the Baylor boys' crushing 18-67 win over Dickson County High School—followed by Mercer Murphy (3rd), Lake Montgomery 4th), Cash Carlson (7th), Harrison Stroud (9th), Carter Witt (11th), Calen Hawk (13th), & Miles Busch (19th).
Baylor's JV girls posted a rare perfect score of 15 to win their race—with Peyton Roop winning the 2-mile event. The JV boys also dominated their 2-mile race with a score of 16—led by Brecken McKenna.
Joining the Red Raider girls team on the podium, the Baylor boys raced to a win in the John Freeman Invitational at the Webb School in Bell Buckle on Friday night.
