Chattanooga Area Historical Association Program Is Sept. 9

The Chattanooga Area Historical Association announces their next program on Monday, Sept. 9 from 6-7 p.m. 

Linda Hershey, a court reporter, will speak about the Scopes Trial which took place in Dayton in 1925. Her talk will be based on the court reporters who were present at the trial. 

The meeting will be in the Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church, 554 McCallie Ave. in Chattanooga. Free parking is available in the rear of the church. The meeting is open to the public.
