New K9 Kennel Donated To Collegedale Police Department

  • Monday, September 16, 2024
Collegedale Police Department’s police K9 Maxim is staying in a brand new kennel these days thanks to a donation made by the local Tractor Supply, located in the city’s Apison Crossing Plaza.

“He’s loving it!” said Maxim’s partner, Officer Shawn Lewis.

Tractor Supply has partnered with law enforcement and other local organizations in the past. When they heard that there was a need, the Collegedale store offered to donate the kennel.

“I can’t thank Tractor Supply enough,” said Chief Jack Sapp.
“I’m always amazed how this community continues to come together in support of our officers. I know Maxim appreciates it too.”

Maxim is a two year old Belgian Malinois. His first anniversary with the police department is coming up in November.
