Gospel Music Singers Jeff And Sheri Easter To Raise Funds For Catoosa Fuller Center For Housing

Jeff and Sheri Easter, two long-time members of Bill Gaither’s Homecoming Friends, will come to Ringgold on Sept. 13.

Multiple Grammy nominees and nine-time Dove winners Jeff and Sheri Easter, along with True Born and host Randall Franks, “Officer Randy Goode” from TV’s “In the Heat of the Night,” will perform for Catoosa Fuller Center for Housing on Friday, Sept. 13, at 7:30 p.m. at the Colonnade Theater at 264 Catoosa Cir.

“Be prepared for a musical journey that promises to uplift and encourage,” said Tony Hullender, Catoosa Fuller chairman, who will be appearing with True Born. “This event is set to be an unforgettable evening of inspiring melodies and heartfelt harmonies.”

The event is a fundraiser with a goal to raise funds for the 501-C-3 serving Catoosa since 1991 providing quality houses and special home repair projects for county residents. It will also feature a silent auction.

Jeff and Sheri will certainly be featuring songs from their latest release “Treasures.”

“We’d love to invite all our friends to be with us for an awesome time with a lot of great talent,” said Mr. Easter. “We don’t get to Ringgold very often, so we look forward to a great night raising funds to help Catoosa County residents.”

With over 70 Top-20 gospel songs, Jeff and Sheri Easter have won multiple Grammy nominations, nine GMA Dove Awards, 15 Singing News Fan Awards, three Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music Association Awards, two International Country Gospel Music Association honors, nine Voice Awards, seven AGM Ovation Awards, four Southern Gospel Music Fan Fair Awards, five SGN Scoops Diamond Awards, four Hearts Aflame Awards and three Cash Box Awards. Ms. Easter has been named Singing News Favorite Alto 11 times and the Singing News Female Vocalist four times, in addition she has claimed 22 multi-genre industry voted female vocalist awards.

Among their best known hits are “Thread of Hope,” “Roses Will Bloom Again,” “Speak to the Mountain,” “Praise His Name,” “Over and Over,” “Small Town Someone” and “Born to Climb.” They also have participated in the Gaither Homecoming video series since 1993, which have sold over 20 million units.

Catoosa Fuller event partners are Rhynes, RTC, FirstBank, Garcan Enterprises, Aubrey and Donna Greeson, Kiwanis Club of Ringgold, Barbara Stephens - Coldwell Banker Kinard Realty, Price Ringgold Drug, Heritage Funeral Home and Crematory, and Choice Title Company. Film actor/entertainer Randall Franks will host the festivities.
