Bishop Mark Beckman, Diocese of Knoxville, celebrated Mass in CHI Memorial's St. Anne’s Chapel during a visit to the hospital
CHI Memorial welcomed Bishop Mark Beckman, from the Diocese of Knoxville, on Monday. This was Bishop Beckman’s first visit to the hospital since his installation in July 2024.
During the visit, Bishop Beckman met with members of the hospital’s executive leadership team to learn about the hospital, which was founded by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth in 1952.
Bishop Beckman also celebrated Mass in the hospital’s St. Anne’s Chapel. The service was attended by hospital employees and volunteers.
CHI Memorial is the only Catholic hospital in East Tennessee.
