AFC Urgent Care announces the grand opening of its new Northshore location at 306 Cherokee Blvd. in Chattanooga. The celebration will take place on Thursday, Jan. 16 from 2-6 p.m. The clinic will officially begin treating patients the following morning, opening its doors on Friday, Jan. 17 at 8 a.m.
Officials said, "At AFC Urgent Care Chattanooga-Northshore, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality, convenient healthcare for the community. Our clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with no appointment required for care.
"Our facility is equipped with advanced medical technology, including digital X-ray capabilities, modern laboratory for rapid testing, comprehensive supplies of braces and crutches for splinting and bracing, and expert care for minor lacerations with suture and stitching services. We also offer rapid testing with results in 15 minutes for flu, strep, COVID-19, mono and RSV.
